Maria V. Howard Center held an awards ceremony on June 12th, 2015 for their 58th National Juried Multimedia Art Exhibition in Rocky Mount, NC. All media were represented with sculpture, photography, drawing, and painting competing for prizes. Edie Carpenter of Greensboro judged the competition.

Among the award winners was Christopher Reid’s pastel painting “The Road to Nowhere”, which won a Merit Award. A jury selected 2 of Reid’s paintings from among hundreds of submissions for entry into the exhibition.

Edie Carpenter, Director of Curatorial and Artists Programs at Green Hill Center for NC Art, was this year’s judge.
