May 3rd kicked off the opening of the 2016 SASA Members Exhibit at the Sanlam Hall in Kirstenbosch.  The South African Society of Artists holds several exhibitions each year to promote South African artists. Artwork of all styles, genre, and media was hung.

Exhibition coordinators said that, “The standard and variety of the work on show is amazing and there’s certain to be something to suit every taste, so we can hope for lots of sales.”

The exhibition was opened by Sarah Struys, events manager for Kirstenbosch, who has also previously exhibited in Sanlam Hall.

For many, such as international artist Christopher Reid, this was their first time exhibiting with SASA. “I look forward to connecting with my fellow SASA artists and creating opportunities to spread fine art throughout South Africa.” Reid said.

Artworks are for sale and will remain on display until May 15th.
