International Watercolor Society of South Africa is hosting the first major international event of its kind in South African history. The event includes: An exhibition of 150 artists selected from 26 different countries, a series of art workshops by visiting international artists, artist demos, art supply vendors with all kinds of watermedia supplies for sale, an Art Tour of the Western Cape.

- August 30 - Free art workshops for local kids (Imibala Gallery)
- August 31 - Asuman Dogan workshop (Imibala Gallery)
- September 1-2 Atanur Dogan workshop (Imibala Gallery)
- September 3-4 Free demos by international artists (Somerset West Town Hall)
- September 3 Awards Ceremony and Gala Banquet with live music (Somerset West Town Hall)
- September 4 Exhibition opening (Art Curator Gallery, Lourensford Estate)
- September 5-9 Art Tour with daily plein air outings, sightseeing, wine tasting, and more
- September 10-11 Amit Kapoor workshop (Imibala Gallery)
