The Manor House at Stanford Valley Farm will be hosting a 3 day plein air workshop with renowned artist Christopher Reid. There are stunning vistas to paint and the top-rated accommodation will be discounted for students to R400 per person sharing (R800 per room), and if longer than 3days, then R350 per person sharing. This is a perfect getaway for the end of autumn. Gourmet meals can be purchased at the Manor House Restaurant and the quaint town of Stanford with its shops is only a few minutes down the road.
The workshop will cover everything you need to know about plein air painting and artists of all skill levels are welcome. Students may work in any medium they wish. Chris will provide hands on instruction as well as demonstrations and lectures.
