The Studio Art Gallery invited emerging and established artists to submit their best artworks for the group exhibition titled ‘Winter Life’. Original artworks that are created in any medium, i.e. painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, etc. Artworks do not have to be of any specific theme. From the artists, whose artworks are selected for the Winter Life group exhibition, four will be chosen for representation by the Studio Art Gallery. The gallery’s directors will choose three of these and a fourth, a people’s choice, will be chosen by guests at the opening event. On the opening day, there will also be two workshops presented by artist Marc Alexander and a ticket draw with great prizes to be won.
On Monday 21 August the exhibition will move to the Studio Art Gallery at Imhoff Farm, Kommetjie, where it will run until 31 October.
